We believe every person and every business has a responsibility to reduce in every possible way the impact of our actions on our planet earth … our only home. So we took action:
Affinity Maker™ has recently joined Grow Me The Money a program for Victorian businesses interested in reducing resources consumption and environmental sustainability.
Becoming a green business is a very ambitious goal. Affinity Maker™ is taking baby steps towards that goal by using 100% renewable energy (Wind Power).
Affinity Maker™ participated in the 2008 earth hour movement. “individual action on a mass scale can help change our planet for the better”
TO THE COMMUNITY
Contributing in a positive way to the community is also part of our commitment to give back. As part of our daily activities we interact with some of the best in all indistries; this includes organisations who actively help to improve our society. So we decided to help them.
Affinity Maker™ actively supports Buy1GIVE1 by providing the organisation with our services at no cost, to reach more individuals and business, and to make the "Joy of Giving” a reality “Every Second, Every Day in Every way”
Volunteers
Affinity Maker™ participated in the Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009 to assist individuals and communities affected by devastating bushfires in Victoria. Alongside UCMS group, who donated the use of its contact communication centre to aid the Red Cross collect donations from the public, Affinity Maker™ helped by providing volunteers for half a day, to operate the phones and take the donations.
